1. Accepting these terms
By creating a VidMyth account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these terms. If you are using VidMyth for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; when we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects your rights, tell you by email before it takes effect.
2. Your account
You need an account to generate anything. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in details private.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. One person, one account — accounts created to obtain repeated free credit balances may be closed.
3. Credits and plans
Most tools run on credits. Credits are a prepaid unit of access to the service. They are not money, they carry no cash value, and they cannot be transferred between accounts or exchanged for cash.
You are only charged for a generation that succeeds. If a generation fails, the credits reserved for it are returned to your balance automatically — you do not have to ask.
Video renders are quoted before they run and settled against the real cost afterwards. If the quote was higher than the finished render, the difference goes back to your balance.
Where a plan carries an access period, credits and access expire at the end of it. Expiry dates are shown on your account before you buy.
4. What you may not do
You agree not to use VidMyth to produce or distribute:
- content that is unlawful where you or your audience are, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights
- material that sexualises minors, or that is created to harass, defame or threaten a real person
- content that impersonates a real person or organisation in a way designed to deceive, including synthetic voice or likeness used without consent
- deliberate misinformation about elections, public health or a person's safety
- malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to compromise a system
- automated or bulk access that degrades the service for other users, including scraping, credential sharing or reselling access
5. Your content and what you generate
You keep ownership of what you put in — your topics, briefs, scripts, uploads and channel information.
As between you and VidMyth, you own the output you generate and may use it commercially, including monetised video. We claim no licence to it beyond what we need to run the service: storing it in your account, showing it back to you, and passing it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy so the generation can happen.
AI output is not unique to you. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, and we cannot promise that anything generated is original, accurate, or free of third-party rights. Before you publish, check it. You are responsible for what you publish under your own name.
We do not use your content to train our own models. The providers we send it to have their own terms, which we link in the Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep VidMyth running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Tools may be paused for maintenance, for a provider outage, or because a provider has rate-limited us. Where a tool is paused you will see it stated in the interface rather than silently failing.
We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for and cannot offer a comparable replacement, you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused portion.
7. Third-party services
VidMyth depends on services we do not control — AI providers, a video renderer, a payment processor, an email sender and Google Firebase. Their availability and their terms affect what the platform can do. We choose them carefully and list them in the Privacy Policy, but we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Publishing to YouTube, Instagram or TikTok is governed by those platforms' own rules. Meeting them is your responsibility.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, VidMyth is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost views, lost audience, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from anything you publish using it.
Where liability is limited, our total liability to you is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using VidMyth at any time and ask us to delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to defraud the payment system, or that we are required to close by law. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account for a breach, unused credits are not refunded.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally — in which case that right is unaffected.
